How Perkons Energy handles personal data

This policy explains how personal data is processed through www.perkonsenergy.com and in the course of Perkons energy operations.

1. What we collect and why

  • Enquiries and quotations. When you send a message or request a quotation we collect your name, email address, telephone number, company name and whatever you tell us about your project, so that we can answer you.
  • Meeting requests. When you book a meeting we collect your name, contact details, the slot you selected and any message, so that we can confirm and prepare for the call.
  • Business relationships. Contact and company details of customers, suppliers and partners, so that we can quote, deliver, invoice and provide support.
  • Site security. Server logs record IP addresses and basic technical information to keep the site available and to investigate abuse.

2. Legal bases

We process personal data to take steps at your request before entering a contract and to perform that contract, to meet our legal obligations, for our legitimate interest in running and securing the business, and on the basis of your consent where consent is asked for.

3. Who we share it with

Personal data may be shared with service providers acting on our behalf, such as hosting, email and delivery partners, and with public authorities where the law requires it. If the business is sold or merged, data may transfer to the acquiring company. We do not sell personal data.

4. How long we keep it

Enquiries and meeting requests are kept for as long as needed to deal with the request and for a reasonable period afterwards for business records. Data forming part of accounting records is kept for the period required by Latvian law.

You have the right to ask for access to your personal data, to have inaccurate data corrected, to withdraw consent, to object to direct marketing, to ask for deletion, to ask us to restrict processing, and to receive your data in a portable format.
